by Puget Sound Equipment

Bomag has introduced a line of vibratory tampers to include a wider range of models for landscapers.

The BVT65 weighs 143 pounds and delivers 3597 pounds of impact force. The Bomag BVT65 is built for occasional use in typical settings.

The Bomag BVT65 model is powered by a four-cycle Honda engine with recoil starter and offers a maximum travel speed of 66 feet per minute.

The tamper includes a cover and guard for engine protection, single air and fuel filter systems and an hour meter and tachometer with integrated service indicator (optional on this model). The units (BVT65, BT60, BT65) also feature a low oil alert system, easy access fuel and engine shutdown switch, as well as splash oil lubrication.

The tamping shoe features a polyethylene material with steel wear plate, as well as a corrosion-free plastic fuel tank.

Each tamper is equipped with a vibration-isolated steering handle, which is height adjustable.

The BVT65 has a width of 11 inches. Four interchangeable shoe sizes (6, 9, 11 and 13 inches) are available as optional equipment.
